Why Choose the Square Golf SwingBay® Package?
The Square is indoor only — it requires a controlled lighting environment and won't work at the outdoor range. If you want to take your launch monitor outside, the R10 SwingBay® Package or MLM2PRO SwingBay® Package handle both environments. Club sticker markers on the shaft are required for club data. For left and right-handed players sharing a setup, the unit will need to be repositioned between players since it mounts to the side. GSPro and E6 require a Windows PC, sold separately. The Square's own course library uses a token model — 1 token per hole — with your purchase including 1,000 tokens and top-ups running under $1 per round. No annual subscription is required for third-party software.

The SwingBay® enclosure needs a minimum footprint of 11'W x 15'D x 8.1'H. Unlike radar units, the Square doesn't require additional room depth behind the hitting position — it sits to the side of the ball. Your room depth requirement is determined by the enclosure, not the launch monitor. This makes the Square package attractive for rooms that can't accommodate the depth needed for radar-based setups. Yes — the Square connects to GSPro natively with no additional Square fee. GSPro displays on the SwingBay® screen via the included HDMI cable. The Square Golf app uses tokens for its own course library — 1 token per hole. Your purchase includes 1,000 tokens, covering 55+ full rounds. Top-ups are available directly from Square at under $1 per round. The driving range, putting practice, and Closest to Pin modes don't use tokens. If you primarily use GSPro or E6, tokens are mostly irrelevant — those run on their own subscription models with no extra Square charge.
Yes — putting is fully tracked in the Square Golf app with adjustable green speeds. This is one of Square's key differentiators. Note that putting within GSPro depends on GSPro's integration — for full putting support including chips and short shots, the Square Golf app's native course mode is currently the most reliable environment.
