What Is the Launch Pro Retractable Package?
The Bushnell Launch Pro Retractable Package pairs the Launch Pro Circle B with a retractable enclosure — either the HomeCourse Pro or SportScreen Golf Studio — plus SwingTurf® hitting mat, 4,000-lumen short-throw projector, projector mount, and 25’ HDMI cable. When deployed, it’s a complete projection-based golf simulator. When retracted, the enclosure folds flat against the wall and the floor space is fully returned. The Launch Pro at the center uses the same camera hardware as the Foresight GC3, with simulation unlocking through a Silver ($199/yr) or Gold ($499/yr) subscription and a Windows gaming PC.

Yes — the Launch Pro is fully portable and works outdoors on the range or the course. It runs on its internal 5–7 hour battery, places beside the ball, and displays ball data on its built-in touchscreen without a phone or PC. The same accuracy you get in the sim bay carries over to the range session. Note: the LPi version is indoor-only and cannot be used outside — if outdoor portability matters, the Launch Pro is the right call.
Yes — a Windows gaming PC is required to run simulation software and project it onto the retractable screen. Minimum specs: Windows 10 64-bit, Intel i5/i7/i9, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 3060+. AMD GPUs are not recommended. The Launch Pro’s on-unit touchscreen shows ball data without a PC, but course play and projection require a connected Windows machine. Same Launch Pro at the center, different enclosure style. The SwingBay® Package is a permanent, freestanding aluminum frame bay — it stays assembled, and the room is a dedicated sim room. The Retractable Package uses a ceiling-mounted enclosure that collapses against the wall when not in use, so the space does double duty. If you want a dedicated sim room and have the space, the SwingBay® is the cleaner setup. If you need the floor space back when the session ends, the Retractable is the right call.
